Claim an email domain for this organization
Claim a domain so its signups are routed to this organization (FLO-2811).
Two refusals, both deliberate:
- 400 for a domain nobody can own — a public mailbox provider, temp-mail service, school, or standards-reserved domain. Claiming gmail.com would divert every consumer signup on the platform.
- 400 for a domain none of this organization’s active admins use. Claiming a domain diverts other people’s signups and discloses their email addresses to you, so it needs some proof of connection; an admin address on the domain is proof we already hold. Domains you own but have no admin on yet (a subsidiary, an acquisition) are added by support through the backoffice route.
- 409 when another organization already claims it. The response never says which one — that would make this endpoint a “who is a customer of super.AI” lookup.
Accepts a bare domain or a full address; both are normalised to the domain.
